July 29, 2019 - July 31, 2019- Etobicoke Outdoor Education Camp

During the days of July 29, 30 and 31, the students went to TDSB's Etobicoke Outdoor Education Camp. For the students that had previously attended the first trip, the program was altered slightly so that there would be hardly any repeats of previous activities. The students day started at around 7:00 AM, which is when they were woken up by the camp counsellors. The students then went to breakfast at around 7:30 AM, and finished breakfast at around 8:30 AM. The EOEC morning program began at 9:00 AM, and the activities consisted of three options for students to choose from- biking, archery, and watercolour painting. After morning activities finished, students went for lunch at 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM. They then had around a thirty minute break before being brought to the pool area from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The second day of the camp, the students worked on their final project from around 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Dinner was served at around 5:00, and the students finished eating at around 6:00 PM. They then were brought outside for EOEC evening activities, which included things like capture the flag, and a large campfire with s'mores. Students were brought back inside to shower at 8:00 PM every night, and were sent to bed at 10:00 PM. On the last day, the students departed from the camp at around 12:45 PM, and arrived back at the school at around 1:45 PM. They were dismissed from the school at 4:00 PM.
