Today, the camp was introduced to a new group of students. The camp also held its annual TDSB Summer Olympic Games, in which students got to compete with each other in teams of eight. The point of this was to improve teamwork, as the students had to work together in order to beat the other teams in a variety of different challenges, such as the hula-hoop challenge, the word game challenge, and the blindfolded challenge. In the afternoon, all the students headed back to class to learn about maple syrup. They learnt about some Canadian traditions that involved maple syrup, and how maple syrup was made. They also got to try maple syrup, and ate the maple syrup on crackers.
